With God All Things are Possible

ree

Scripture: Luke 1:37 “For with God, nothing shall be impossible.”

Need a miracle? No worries! God has an endless supply!

I cringe when reading quotes such as, “Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful.” Christmas isn’t magic, my friends! The message of Christmas is all about miracles!

Holiday symbols like the Grinch and the manger are fun to see and spark holiday joy. By focusing on Christ’s message, the holidays take on a reverent meaning, offering hope and peace.

Gabriel told the Virgin Mary she was going to “conceive in her womb, and bring forth a son, and call his name JESUS.” Mary’s response, “Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man” (Luke 1:34).

Gabriel’s reply needed no additional explanation, other than, “For with God, nothing shall be impossible!”

Matthew 19:26 teaches, “…With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” Men face impossibilities, but God specializes in possibilities!

And notice what is impossible with God? NOTHING. Which means NO THING! Not one tiny, itsy-bitsy thing is impossible when placed in the Hands of our Almighty God!

So, next time …

o The doctors say, “There’s no hope,” look them in the eye and declare, “For with God, nothing shall be impossible!”

o When you agonize if your child will receive Jesus as their Savior, confidently testify, “For with God, nothing shall be impossible!”

o When you’re pondering giving up on your marriage and heading to the divorce court, stop, lift your hands, and proclaim, “For with God nothing shall be impossible!”

o When you’re longing for triumph over a particular sin or habit, bellow out the shout of victory, “For with God, nothing shall be impossible!”

o When you compare your debts with your bank balance, raise a hallelujah, and announce, “For with God, nothing shall be impossible.”

o When you’re overwhelmed with the numerous tasks, stare at the pile and boldly speak, Pile, you’re going down, for with God nothing shall be impossible!”

o When worrisome thoughts threaten to invade your mind, take that thought captive and confirm, “For with God, nothing shall be impossible!”

o When you feel your heart breaking and you wonder if you have the strength to get through another day, courageously confess, “For with God, nothing shall be impossible!”

I don’t know what “impossibility” you’re facing, but I know this one thing,

“With God ALL things are possible!”

Set your expectations upon the God of possibilities and anticipate not only an intervention on your behalf, but for Him to “do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…” (Ephesians 3:20).

LIVING OUT HIS PROMISES

Do you have someone on your list who’s facing an impossible situation? Ask God for creative ways to display His promise, “With God all things are possible,” and give them the gift of hope.
